TICK2TICK | PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: March 13, 2026
Tick2Tick is part of the “PC for YOU” Kft. This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use our website.
What data do we collect?
Tick2Tick collects the following data:
- Basic User Data: Name, email address, phone number, and Sierra Chart username (optional).
- Trial Verification Data: To enforce our “one trial per user” policy, we collect and process credit card metadata/identifiers during Free Trial registration.
- Transaction & Billing Data: When you make a purchase, we collect your billing address, full name for invoicing, phone number, and payment details (processed via Stripe’s secure payment gateway).
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Tick2Tick with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
- Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
How will we use your data?
Tick2Tick collects your data so that we can:
- Service Management: Manage your account, track usage, and facilitate your login.
- Integration: Synchronize the service with your Sierra Chart requests.
- Fraud Prevention: We process payment identifiers during Free Trials to enforce our one-trial-per-card policy and prevent service abuse (Legal Basis: Legitimate Interest).
- Billing: Issue legal invoices and process your purchases (Legal Basis: Legal Obligation & Contractual Necessity).
- Payment Processing with Stripe: We use Stripe as our third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase or sign up for a Free Trial, your payment data is collected and processed directly by Stripe. When you pay, we share your name, email, phone number, and billing address with Stripe to facilitate the transaction and generate invoices. Tick2Tick does not store your full credit card number or CVV/CVC on our servers. All sensitive payment details are handled by Stripe’s secure infrastructure, which is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1 (industry standard). For Free Trials, Stripe provides us with a unique “token” or identifier associated with your card. We retain this identifier to enforce our “one trial per person” policy and prevent fraud. Stripe may process data in the United States. They ensure compliance with EU data protection standards through the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy here: https://stripe.com/privacy
Tick2Tick will NOT share your data with 3rd party companies or legal entities so that they may offer you their products and services.
How do we store your data?
Tick2Tick securely stores your data on professional server infrastructure located in the European Economic Area. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and strict access controls, to protect your information.
Tick2Tick will keep your data until deletion or inactivation of your Tick2Tick account. If requested, we will delete your data by erasing it from our databases or anonymizing it. Note that we might keep payment and billing related reasons, which are required by law.
